Background Information

Hi my name is Leah Stone and I am very excited that you have found my blog! A little background information before I dive into the idea behind the blog. I have a background in Anthropology and Religious Studies and went to college at the University of Virginia. After trying my hand at archaeology I found that my true passion was in the research I would conduct before writing papers and attending dig sites. I then switched gears and went back to school via an online cohort at the University of North Texas. There I received an M.S. in Library Science, specifically concentrating on academic libraries. After relocating to Hawaii and working at Dainel K. Inouye Elementary on Schofield Barracks; I once again decided to go back to school. My husband’s travels in the U.S. Army will soon be taking us to New York. I decided to go back to school at the University of Syracuse to pursue their Certificate of Advanced Studies in School Media. I believe I have found my place in the library world, while still possessing skills that make me highly versatile.
